The Power Plant is currently experiencing problems with their
boilers and have asked the Operations Center to shed load on steam for
the campus. As a result, the main group is not being provided with any
heat. The Power Plant is assessing the situation and will be
providing us with an update within a half hour. As the information is
provided to us, I will pass it on. In addition to the email messages,
updates will also be recorded on the Physical Plant Emergency
Information line, which is 3-1300.
We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may be
causing and we assure you that we are doing everything in our power to
resolve it as quickly as possible.
