There seems to be alot of confusion regarding this VSII system. Rob Smyser had
complicated (not on purpose) the existing problem. Dennis Baron had made
things easier by stating that E51-311-1 is a MAC, NOT A VS11. Please
disregard the response that is with the E51-309 VSII in hotline.
Getting back to the VSII problem in E51-309 is as follows.
JJmorey and I have spent much time trying to load software on this machine
on Friday afternoon. I do believe that the name of this VSII is batman, and
that its on the 18.92 subnet. I have checked all the visible network
connections, and have traced the Ethernet drop as far as I could. All looks
o.k. I am going to place a call for service to have the network board checked
out on this system. S/N WF60406603 Located in N51-309 LOG # BC2943
Dave Towle will be looking into this problem.
