problem with athena terminal

Hi,
An athena terminal in room 1-307 (Mechanical behavior of Materials Lab) is not
working - the screen just says " unable to start xlogin trying console login
instead, missing or bad passwd for <root>" ... Can you help me? the name of the
machine is fatigue and it is not a part of any athena public cluster. I tried
rebooting the terminal, but it still did not help. requesting reply asap.
