The cluster in e25-147 seems to be having troubles with workstations:
Workstation: ballard1
Problem: will not activate
error message:
e40-dmusys: /afs/athena.mit.edu/system/@sys/srvd.71 does not exist
Workstation: heyward
Problem: a user demonstrated the problem of logging in and trying to
bring up windows.
as soon as he tried to create a new window, the "boarder" image
would appear, but when he tried to place it, it dissappeared
and exited as soon as he clicked the mouse button
(the error messg. went by too quickly to get!)
