both barker-5-5 and barker-5-6 are very dead.
barker-5-5 can't reboot 'cause of a masive disk error (it wants us humans
to do a manual filsys check - I'd bring a new hard drive if you come
to fix this one...
barker-5-6 : it's pluged in, but doesn't answer a ping and the monitor
is blank (I turned the monitor off afterwards to save energy)
Both machines are VS2000s.
theres an unterminated ethernet cable plug between barker-5-7 and
barker-5-6 -- that might be causing some problems
