Geryon will be down at 8am on the morning of Wednesday, February 22.
Service should be back by 9am or shortly afterwards. (A hard disk has
been registering errors, and needs to be checked more thoroughly.)
All AFS volumes on Geryon will be unavailable during this time.
Some AFS servers will be moved to a new UPS (uniterruptable power
supply) during the evening of Wednesday, February 22. These outages
may be user-visible, but should cause no interruption in service.
(Their volumes are replicated elsewhere.)
Menelaus will be down briefly (under 30 minutes) Thursday morning,
February 23, for the addition of a new disk to hold discuss meetings.
Discuss service will be down briefly again on the morning of Friday,
February 24, for the actual cutover to the new disk. Both outages
will be over before 9am.
