This sun seems to be having problems. Users are unable to log in on it.
I tried to log in as root; the xlogin disappeared as if the workstation was
allowing me to log in as root, but after about 60 seconds I gave up and
left.
I checked the AUI interface and the associated thinwire-to-AUI transciever;
it seems to be connected properly.
