Hi,
I reinstalled athena 7.7 software on my Decstation 5000/25
today (hostname: kanga). The system rebooted fine after the
installation. I then copied my customized system software from my
home directory to /etc and /var. When I rebooted a second time, the
boot did not take as long but still gave me an Xlogin screen. The
problem is that if I login at the xlogin as either as me or as root, I
get error messages saying that the workstation failed to activate
properly. I can login as me and as root with the windows system
shutdown. What should I do?
I will be logged in for 30 minutes after which I am giving up for the
day. Please respond quickly if you can. Thanks.
