We are having a problem with an Athena workstation: M34-101a-2
This is an Athena DecStation used for the lecture hall in building
34. I believe the problem is that there is no hesiod information
for the machine to know which of the system packs to load:
athena% hostinfo m34-101a-2
Desired host: m34-101a-2
Official name: m34-101a-2.MIT.EDU
Host address: 18.62.0.91
Host info: DEC/DECSTATION-5000.25/ULTRIX
athena% hesinfo m34-101a-2.mit.edu cluster
Hesiod name not found
I can temporarily fix the problem by logging in as root and manually
linking the srvd to the machine, but I would prefer to have this
done automatically.
Of course, I may have the wrong tag for hesinfo, but I am not sure.
If someone could be so kind as to look into this, I would very much
appreciate it.
Thanks
David Rho
