=>I want to buy a printer and have it be a normal networked
=>athena-type printer. What precisely should I buy from the MCC?

Funny you should ask, since there isn't a whole lot to choose from
when purchasing a supported Athena printer--basically the HP 4si mx
(the one that sits on the network) is the only officially "supported"
printer. Is that going to be overkill for your needs or your budget?

=>And what do I do to have it set up on the network and in hesiod and
=>all? (I have a netdrop, and a name and an IP address already.)

When you purchase the printer we'll need to get a copy of the test
sheet with the ethernet address. We'll also need to know the hostname
or ip address of the printer. Once you've purchased the printer
contact hotline. Since they deploy these beasts all the time they know
the right things to do for us to setup hesiod, booting, print serving,
etc.

Hope this helps,
Kim
