The Moira server will be unavailable starting at about 5am this
Friday, January 20th. During that morning, we will be taking the
second step in updating the software on the server. The server should
be back before 8am.
[DETAILS: We will be replacing moirad and the programs which generate
the nightly updates. The new versions of these programs will use the
improved locking capability that we enabled during the last planned
outage. The database is standardly unavailable from about 5am until 6
or 6:30. This update will extend that outage, perhaps by only a few
minutes.]
