Hi John,
When I came in today, I tried to rename "block" as "dizzy".
It seems that the info for dizzy isn't in the system yet after all. I
tried running:
% hostinfo dizzy
No such host 'dizzy'.
But since I already had the IP address for the machine as "block"
(18.81.0.149), I thought I could use that, so I logged in as root and
ran /etc/athena/solaris_reconf, and the rebooting.
But things don't seem to have worked properly. Did the info you put
into hesiod the other day get propagated properly?
What's do you think? I'd like to be able to use the machine via remote
login as soon as possible.
For now I'm going to try renaming it back to block for the time being,
just so I can maybe get some work done on it.
