For the third day in a row, when I log on marinara (a dialup
server) I am informed that my home directory is not available. So,
I proceed with temporary directory. The first command I used was
attach thanost (my home directory) without problems and then
cd /mit/thanost; set home=`pwd`. All I have to do now is source my
customized files and I'm in business. But why can't the machine do
that for me as it is supposed to?
