Ash in W20 printers?

Yesterday afternoon a user came into the SIPB office
complaining about broken W20 printers -- Fiber and
Pulp both reported maintenance errors; Looking inside the
printer there was a collection of white dusty, ash-like stuff
(possibly from sort of stranger paper??); Blowing it out
and power cycling seemed to fix things.
