Theseus (Dialup name server, version server, & xcluster server) died this
evening with a scsi error that is has had before. I swapped the disk into THE
LAST MAXINE FROM THE OPS STOREROOM. and it seems to be working now. Plesae
diagnose / repair / scrap the pile of junk sitting outside the Ops storeroom
ASAP since ops does not have another maxine in e40 that is free.
In other news the machine room weather is Hot and Humid. The thermometer in
the center of the room read '70' and the end of the room with the dialups was
much warner (since the HVAC units do not display the humity I have no idea
what it was...but it was much hugher than that of the third floor). Please do
something about this.
And as a final note, the phone downstairs in the main area of 008 does not
work. That should be fixed too.
