I have received many complaints early this evening from several people in
the BLDG 48 facility in regards to getting no responses from the Athena
Pvax's on the 2nd and 4th floors. I have done some poking around, and tried
all the obvious with no luck. I suspected that an RVD problem existed, and
had paged the emergency pager. Mark had responded within 5 minutes of the
page, and began looking into the problem. It appears that the VAXPACK on the
RVD (ARISTARCHUS) was having software problems. Mark has selected the backup
RVD server for this area, and will investigate the software on the problem
server on Wednesday.
