I was hoping to get a reinstallation of the software on ARUNDEL.MIT.EDU
in 66-070 (see message below).
Also, another machine in the room has been giving us problems, but nobody
knows the root password. Would a software reinstallation reset the root
password to the default ("mrroot")? If so, could I also get a software
reinstallation on PEMBROKE.MIT.EDU in 66-070?
Thanks,
John Wilhelmi

Hello. There appears to be some problems with the Athena
machine ARUNDEL.MIT.EDU (18.63.0.86). Users can't log
in to the machine. All of the network connections look
fine.
The machine is in room 66-070.
Thanks for your help!
John Wilhelmi
Hi John-
I believe the software has been hacked and a reinstall
of software will fix it's problem. Please send an ok
to hotline for the reinstall to happen.
Thanks
JJ
