i tried to log into m4-167-4. it was in console mode and had an error
that said that dm was unable to start xlogin. i tried to log in on console
mode and not only did keys on the keyboard not correspond to the proper
letters (ie i hit 'v' but got a 'c'), but it kept saying that my kerberos
principal was unknown. so i tried to log in as root and it said that the login
was incorrect. was the console mode not really console mode? i have already
changed my password just in case but i think someone should look into this
asap.
