Hi there. About two weeks ago we had a Sun Sparc station installed in 13-3094.
This Sun is configured to look and act just like an Athena station. However,
I'm having a machine-specific problem. I cannot compile any C code on here, not
even hello world. I've tried gnu, cygnus, and sunsoft. The same code
compiles on other computers, even ones that were installed at the same time
in other offices. I've talked to OLC, people and IS, and my own system adm.
The best suggestion I've gotten is to ask you folks to do a software re-install
on this computer. Please write me back or call at x3-7012. I would very much
appreciate a reply soon because I'm supposed to be writing C code these days.
