Trouble rebooting Sun workstation

Today I was having problems using w20-575-122.
First, when I logged in, my console didn't appear.
I contacted olc. They told me the problem was the
workstation, and that I should reboot it.
I tried to reboot it by following their instructions,
(pressing "Stop" and "a")...but the machine didn't
reboot. I never got an "ok" prompt. I tried this
several times, and nothing happened.
(I tried rebooting this workstation just now, just to
test whether I was doing it right. This machine rebooted
okay.)
Nothing bad seems to have happened, but I just thought
that it seemed weird. I don't really know what happened.
What do you think the problem is?
