Subject: Sparc5 SuperBlock Problem

Hi -

I've been working on this problem for about a week and a half
and feel that I can not persue it any further, I've used all
my resources and have not made any headway.

Basically this is a sparc5 with a 1.05 gig HD 
It came into hotline having problems with can't find aklog
and err's of bad superblock and problems with magic number

1st time I went on site I did a reinstall
2nd time I formatted (50mins) and reinstalled
3rd time I tried using the fsck comand to replace the super block
    doesn't work (or I couldn't get it to work)

A developer or someone from Op needs to take a look at this 
problem.

 The Sun Sparc called real-uma in 13-4024 is crashed again and displays 
no X and doesn't reboot.

I've made an appointment to format and reinstall his Gigabyte drive.

I've done a format which takes approx 45mins (this is a 1.05 gig HD).
I've trained user how to do installs, system should be back up around
3pm, he will call with update.  We'll just have to wait and see if this
resolves the super-block problem.

to get the printer up also .
