Subject: ethernet connection for m11-113-4
Date: Wed, 19 Oct 1994 16:28:56 EDT
From: Peter M Daly <pmd@MIT.EDU>

Hi;

The thinwire BNC connection for the workstation m11-113-4
needs to be replaced. (well, at least the cable needs to
be stripped and the connector re-seated).

Any jostling (or stepping on) of the cable by a user not
only freezes their workstation, but also freezes the next
workstation down the line (m11-113-10 in this case).

Thanks very much in advance!

I have verified this issue as true. I suggest that the thin-wire coax
connection connecting to the ST500 be replaced. It is currently taped.
Have forwarded to Net-Help.
