I have received a 1410 call in regards to a No Hesiod Info problem for this
PVAX in the above mentioned location. I have checked all visual connections
as well as jack connections in this room. On a reboot, the system loses
contact with its volume server. I have contacted Ron and Chris at network
services in regards to this situation.

I have checked the drop and found everything working.
It was, no doubt, a transient condition.
I do recommend that a "current" transceiver be placed
on that drop; the one that's there (UTP) only has a
power light and I had to bring another transceiver with
me that had link and traffic lights as a diagnostic tool.
The machine on that drop is SML.MIT.EDU, a Vaxstation 3100.
