Disabling auto updates will be ok, but isn't the best solution. We'd want to
have the latest software versions as they become available. Disabling that is
sure to be confusing at a minimum as different workstations end up running
different versions of software. Plus, if we ever decide to reload a disk for
any reason, I'm bound to forget to update rc.net or if someone else does an
update, they may not even know about rc.net and the gateway. Is it possible
to change the gateway from 128.128.0.1 to 128.128.28.1 in the rc.net that is
downloaded to menhaden when updates are performed? I'd really prefer this over
disabling auto updates and trying to remember to keeps eyes on rc.net all the
time.
