I met with Tom Delina from PP this morning to discuss providing
cooling to the W20 machine room thru the chilled water shutdown plant
wants for Thrusday. They will provide two portable chillers with a
total capacity of 24,000 BTU, which are fed off of domestic water.
They'll tap into the humidifier lines for the water supply.
After discussing this with Kim, John, and JJ, we think we should push
this work back to the weekend, in order to be less disruptive with the
W20 cluster and if it becomes necessary to shutdown any lower-priority
services in the machine room (if there are any). I just called Jack Manion
about this, and am waiting for a call back.
