Testing of lpquota went well. Using the old client Miki was able to
duplicate the failure mode we saw during the summer. She was not able
to reproduce the problem with the new client. We hope to have the new
lpquota client deployed via patch release sometime soon. Stay tuned
for more info on that.
We expect to have the print accounting logs straightened out over the
next week or so. Until that time the print quota database will not be
available. We'll keep people posted on this as well.
Thanks for all your help and patience with this annoying problem. I
know the frontline support groups got a lot of questions from users
about their print quota and a lot of complaints from users that
couldn't print because the print quota database was down. I'm sorry
for the inconvenience this caused everyone.
