workstation w20-575-12 broke into the boot monitor while a user was logged
in on it. She seemed to have been able to type "go", but the machine has
since stopped responding to the keyboard/mouse. I tried wiggling the
keyboard cables, and when that had no effect, unplugging and re-seating the
keyboard cable. The machine is still unresponsive to L1-A (and all other
keyboard input).

I decided it would be best to send mail to hotline rather than risk
damaging the hardware myself by powercycling it.
