Hi all,
It is now a good possibility that Suns systems in the bldg. 38 area
that are utilizing UTP have something in common. While investigating a
possible hardware problem on a newly deployed Sun in 38-389/390, I met up with
Karen Walrath. Her sun system was failing on copying files via the net. Once
the system was moved (as an experiment) a few doors down to a thick-wire drop
on a Delni, the system was unable to fail. Karen will leave this system
running (on the delni) possibly over night. It was moved from UTP to a thick-
wire drop. Karen, please keep us informed.
                               Thanks Much,
                                          --Lou
