Subject: Packet stream.
Jeffrey,
The machine M37-318-10.MIT.EDU (18.78.0.49) is sending a packet spray at
199.199.22.0. It seems to enjoy good enough internet bandwith that is is
able to flood the first T1 in CICNet that the stream comes to. We have had
to disable routing to this network to interrupt the spary and avoid
disrupting service at CICNet and MRNet. It could be that this is a runaway
talk client, as that software seems to have a bug that does this. Could
you please help us stop this traffic so we can restore service for the
target network?
Thanks and regards,
Dave.
