We have success. quahog and sqeteague are now both up and running fine.
quahog simply required a reboot; not sure what was wrong but the reboot cleared
it (all cables were snug, cpu had power, monitor had a big X in the middle of
it, but it wouldn't respond to keyboard entries).
squeteague had a break in the e-net cable on the floor; it was connected at the
cpu and the wall, but not in between. I reconnected; the console window came
on and indicated a net timeout. When it didn't look like it was going to try
and re-establish the connection, I rebooted. It came up fine.
Now we have a new, but smaller problem. The keyboard on tautog has several
(maybe 1/3 to 1/2?) of its keys are not responding when typed- you have to
really hit 'em or hit 'em a couple of times to get them to work. It makes for
fun when trying to enter a non-echoed password! Can we log a service call for
this? tautog info is included below. Thanks for your help.
