We have some old vs3100's that we are still using.

We had customized our login windows to say things like "Welcome to LEES"
rather than "Welcome to Athena". It worked fine for the past month.

Tonight, that broke. It was working fine earlier, but when someone logged
out of their machine this evening, it would TRY to start up a new Xlogin,
but only get the window and the outline of the login username/password
boxes up, hang, and then give an error about Xlogin unable to start.
It would cycle through this a little bit, then give a console login.

If someone went to an idle vaxstation that didn't have this problem,
logged in, then out, it would now have this problem.

I checked protections, etc. Everything looks ok. Did something change?
Is anyone else customizing their login windows? Could I see examples of
what you did?

We were using Xlogin.local. If I applied the changes directly to Xlogin,
it also did not work.
