I just talked to Lou on the phone....here are a few more details.
When I tried to re-install it it failed with either a timeout or an io error,
but installing another machine on the same net worked.
There shouldn't be any useful data on the disk, but if the disk needs to be
replaced I would like to see it before it goes to Dec.
