last time i made a report like this, i guess the situation remedied itself
and i was met with a tone that seemed to say "you must be mistaken, the
machine is just fine"
well, in the last two days and just now, barker-6-7
has said "workstation failed to startup properly" or something "please
contact athena operations" at least four times when i tried to log in.
this was not during the brownout-caused problems.
then, a console came up that said "no hesiod information for
barker-6-7"
well, the machine seems buggy and should be looked at.
and please don't tell me i don't know what the workstation said, ok?
