I'm not really sure if this is indication of faulty hardware, or a bug in the software,
but I thought this is the most appropriate place to send this:
I was logged in to said machine, when suddenly, it switched to the terminal (whatever
the thing you get when you press Stop-a). well, I wasn't sure what was going on, but
I typed 'go', and it resumed operation, but just before I could xrefresh, the
console popped up, and some weird NOTICE: came up (something about silo failure or
something) and the machine completely froze.
Stop-a did not work, so I powercycled it, and there were no bizarre messages
in /var/adm/messages.. I really don't know what happened (the machine seems to be o
operating normally again).. but just in case this is indicative of a failure...
