Previously, I hazve been always been able to log in to my own machine
(thelonious) from the pasta pads.
When I tried it just now, for the first time in a couple of weeks, I got
a message something like, "can't log into that machine from here."
I don't know if this enhancement is due to the new release, or to the
sub-net switch, which is why I have sent this request for enlightenment
and assistance to both of these lists.
