This computer would not let me click anywhere with my mouse or type anything
into any window where I moved the mouse. The mouse changed into a square
figure and started having problems after the following error messages appeared:
Lost contact with volume location server 18.181.0.22 in cell sipb.mit.edu
Lost contact with volume location server 18.181.0.23 in cell sipb.mit.edu
My name is Aaron Cardenas. I am in the Environmental Engineering Dept. 1E and
can be reached at 354-1357. The computer is located in the Fishbowl at the
middle of the infinite corridor. It is a Sun with the serial number
MIT-0268778.
The mouse seems to work in spite of the error now after rebooting and
logging back in twice, but I am leaving an out of order sign on the computer
for now.
