w20-575-81's keyboard has a problem with its modifier keys (Ctrl,
Shift, Compose Character, and Alt). If you hold down more than
one of them then press any other key, they [the modifier keys]
will become "stuck," that is, the computer thinks they're still
pressed even after you release them.
For example, run xkeycaps (from the outland locker). Hold down
Ctrl and Compose Character (either one) then press J. The Ctrl
and and Compose Character displays will go out when you press J
but come back on when you release them. You need to press them
again to get them to go into their correct states.
There are also some problems recognizing certain combinations of
more than two modifier keys. For example, press down on any
three modifier keys simultaneously, and only one or two of them
will come on.
