m11-113-5 floppy disk drive

Hi, 

I am unable to read 3.5" floppy disks in the drive of machine m11-113-5.
The same disks work fine in other machines.  The disks were formatted on
athena with 
cformat -mtools
and I get and I/O error when I try to copy files to the floppies or do
directory listing.
