i don't know if it's just because athena in general is really hosed right
now or if it's this machine, but i've never had a sun run this slowly
before in the time they've been athena machines. it's going slower than i
remmeber the rt's being; the refresh times are HUGE, the window creation
times are obscene, there's massive swappage, it took 5 minutes to get my
first window created, etc. etc.
if this is not a current global problem, you might think about taking a
look at this machine.
