I started looking at dt some time after it started loosing. I decided
that I wanted to try to forward the bad block, since it was a single
block. Shortly after this, but before I figured out how, Lou came in.
Hes suggested that I try running self tests or re-installing. I told
him I was still looking at it and would try that if nothing else
worked. I was able to use format to forward the block. Unfortunately
there didn't appear to be any way to determine what file contained the
bad block. based on the cylinder number I believe it was on the /usr
partition. Fsck reported 3 unref'd files on /usr; track -n -c said
that there were three missing symlinks (with the same names) on /usr.
I used track to put them back. It is possible that there is something
corrupt, but I've been using the machine for a while with out a
problem.

Anyhow, unless dt reports lots more errors, I think it's OK.

hotline: feel free to close out the call, we'll let you know if it has
more problems.
