I called the hardware "hotline" and left a message on your answering
machine, but I thought I'd be sure you got the message.

I was in the Macintosh cluster (2-032?) using the printer for 1 lousy
copy when it started repeatedly regurgitating and retaking my card
(after I was done, when I pushed the return button). It did this
about 10 times, and I *didn't* try to touch the thing since you have
all these thousands of warnings pasted to everything. Then it started
beeping and flashing "Call Operator." And it kept my card.

So, first you might want to do something since that printer is now out
of commission. Secondly, I'd like my Venda Code card back, or $3.60
for the amount left on it before it was eaten. By the way, that's
$3.60, not $3.50, because the thing printed out one sheet belonging to
some other poor soul before it printed my single copy, and I don't
especially want to pay for it.

Not that you care, but I don't think this system works too well, based
on this (my first--and last--experience with this setup).

Good luck with the pliers,

Jeff Bounds
