Hi,
The System Support group only needs to get involved when customers
are installing or customizing non-standard hardware. Customizing and
adding peripherals to standard hardware is the responsibility of
the customer. There's documentation available to help them, and they
can ask questions in olc under the "private_ws" topic.
Since the ds5000/25 is standard hardware, the customer should get
a copy of the "Private Athena Workstation Owners Guide." Contact
Sharon Belville for more info on the document. I'll forward this information
along to Amy Chan.
