m4-035-4 monitor dim?

 Hi,
 The 8508 IBM monitor on m4-035-4 seems to be too dim or dull.
 I have the brightness and contrast up all the way and the white color
 seems like a dirty gray.  (Uh, I don't see any magnetic field problems
 though. :-)  -Rita
