Hi,
I am not sure if this is the right place to deal with my problem,
but I thought I'd give it a try.
When I logged in to a IBM in bld 16 15 minutes ago, something
weird happened. Suddenly my screen went all black and a message was
displayed saying that if I wanted to get back to my XLogin window I
should type [Alt] [Ctrl] or something like this. I did this. Then
another message popped out asking me for my loging name and password.
As I just got out of 6.033 recitation when we discussed how Kerbros
has no strong protection against people trying to compromise the system by
"pretending" to be a service and getting user's passwords that way,
I didn't type anything. I looked for another worksation. In the
meanwhile, someone tried to log in to my workstation. I went back
and my screen was back on.
I haven't slept tonite, so I am probably getting paranoied, but
could someone explain to me what happened?

						Thanx,
						    Marta
