Hi,
I am having problems with my machine. Every time I log in, it
it comes up with these messages...
afs: Lost contact with volume location server 18.72.0.43 in cell
athena.mit.edu
afs: Lost contact with volume location server 18.80.0.2 in cell
athena.mit.edu
afs: Lost contact with volume location server 18.70.0.6 in cell athena.mit.edu
In about 4 mimutes, it finds these location servers and logs me in.
This has been happening since Friday. I rebooted the machine yesterday
and the same messages came up during the rebooting. The machine is
a DECstation 5000/25, called lightning-bug. It is located in Bldg
1-245. I was wondering if you have any suggestions about fixing this
problem.
