There is a paper jam indication light on plato but I cannot find a paper jam.
I did, however, find coffee spilled on top of the paper input tray and perhaps
some spilled into the machine. I cleaned up the coffee spill and Dec will
have to be notified about the jam problem.
There are two suggestions I would like to make:
1) Put another printer in 1-142 since when plato is down the nearest
printer is in building 11; quite a long way for users to have to go.
2) Put in a login message stating that users are not allowed to bring
food or drinks into the public clusters and, very importantly, make a
policy statement regarding some kind of punishment which will be
administered to policy viotators. We could suspend their Athena privileges
for a day for a first offence and increase the punishment to fit the crime.
Something must be done.
Thanks,
John D.
