I got a phone call from a grad student in the ocean eng. cluster, reporting
that they thought they were having network problems; everything going over
the network was really slow, and some timed out. All the machines in their
cluster acted this way, according to him. The machine he was on was
"Austrailia". I know this isn't much to go on, unfortunately, but he was in
a rush to leave. He said he'd call hotline himself monday.
