Catwoman boots fine from the tape. It fails when it tries to
register her hostname. I suspect that the Ethernet transceiver is
dead or not getting power, because none of the status lights on the
transceiver are on. I have not tried swapping transceivers with a
working system yet. I will try that sometime tomorrow and send you
another message.
Also (a new development), Catwoman's monitor appears to be
dead. The power light refuses to come on, and there is no sign of
activity on the screen when the machine is powered up. Yes, it is
plugged in; no, I did not play with that particular connection.
Why this one machine is afflicted, I have no idea. Sorry
about this.
