my vs2, tartaros, has a bad rd53. i hope to recover what data i can from it,
but right now, the system won't boot. i ran rqbads 4 times and ran fsck manually
several times. during the fsck, it reports disk transfer errors, both hard
and soft. this is the cpu closest to the a.c. unit in e40-319 . anne salemme
suggested i report this to hotline. i'm stopped until i regain the disk's
contents, and delayed/dismayed if they're gone for good. -don
