Troubles with 'hockney' AFS server

There were a number of volumes offline this morning on hockney:/vicepd,
which we were unable to get back online by salvaging individually. Around
noon, we attempted a salvage of the entire server, because we suspected that
the vicepd partition had actually filled up at some point during last
night's vos releasing/cloning. (That would be a bad thing.) We have been
unable to successfully salvage the /vicepd partition, so for the time being
we have taken the vicepd partition out of service, and are bringing the
system back up so that users can get to volumes on the other partitions
(b, c, e, and f).
We expect that the b, c, e, and f partitions should be available shortly, and
we'll be trying to get the d partition back in service as soon as possible.
I'll send out mail as soon as I have a time estimate on it.
